Sports Massage and You

Sports Massage is a deep tissue massage suitable for people of all ages and all levels of activity. All of us are liable to the occasional muscular injury or stiffness which can interfere with our enjoyment of sport or adversely affect our daily lives. Sports and Remedial Massage has been shown to help people from all walks of life who may suffer from muscular tension, stress and fatigue. Our clients are extremely varied and include gardeners, DIY fanatics, housewives, athletes of all levels, as well as those suffering from work-related muscle tension and soreness. Since graduating from the London School of Sports Massage, Meirion has worked with a wide variety of clients, both sporting and non-sporting, of all ages & from all walks of life. Meirion is trained to personally assess each individual and will tailor his treatment sessions to you as an individual.

Meirion is the official Sports Massage Therapist for Elite Cymru for the whole of South East Wales. Athletes on the Elite Cymru High Performance squad are subsidised by Elite Cymru to come to Meirion for treatment. However, Meirion’s clients are by no means restricted to professional athletes. Regardless of whether you exercise or play sport to keep fit, or compete from club to international level, Sports Massage can form an essential part of your fitness regime, helping to improve recovery and prevent injury.
